1 Timothy 6:11-12 Tells us to fight the good fight of faith: to lay hold to eternal life.  We live in a society that is trying its best to make men think we have no worth or that being a good husband, father, provider and most importantly, a good man of God, is not necessary.  The world would say godliness is not a good quality or even that it is “toxic” just to be a man.  My desire is not only to be a strong man of God, but it is also to let other men, young men, my sons (and anyone else who I have the opportunity to meet) to know that God designed us to be protectors, providers and lovers.  We are to follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and meekness.  In other words, to fight the good fight of faith.  This world will need all of these things as we draw nigh to the coming of our Lord Jesus.  This world will need Men of Purpose!
