Church Pastors
Wayne and Stacey Moose
My wife Stacey and I want to sincerely thank you for the privilege and honor to be able to serve you.
I was called to preach in January of 2015 and after three months of running I finally surrendered to the call to preach. In June of 2016 the Lord one Sunday morning in the altars called me to pastor. I must admit in the beginning I didn’t see how it could be nor did I really want to surrender to it. Fast forward 3 1/2 years and the door opened for us to walk through that would fulfill the promise that the Lord made me.
Lakeside Church-Yadkinville launched in March 2020 with just ten people and a promise from the Lord. This was in the beginning stages of the global pandemic and I must admit I questioned Lord did we get this right? Did we miss it? But I kept hearing the voice of the Lord saying trust me and remain faithful.
Since then we have grown not just numerically, but above all spiritually. We have seen lost souls come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We have seen believers strengthened in their walk with the Lord and and as well ever learning of the knowledge of God’s dear son and more importantly of the work he accomplished at Calvary. We have seen the faithfulness of God in bringing in laborers to assist us in the work that God has called us to do of which we give the Lord all the praise for.
Our vision is simply to see as many souls saved that we can and as well see the saints strengthened. We know the Lord has called us for such a time as this and has planted us here to accomplish great and mighty things through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe and take the Lord at his word when he said, “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me.” We stand by that and through prayer and the proclamation of the gospel, we have seen God do just that over and over again.
We are a body of “whosoevers” that have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. We are determined now more than ever before to be that beacon of light to those that are in darkness; to be a place for the hurting and the bound to come and hear the greatest message that could ever be proclaimed Jesus Christ and him Crucified to be healed and set free.
Please prayerfully consider coming and linking arms with us to help us in our endeavors to take this gospel as far as he would allow and to reach as many as we can for his glory. He has done great and mighty things, but we believe the best is truly yet to come!

Children's Pastors
Levi and Elizabeth Byrd
My wife Elizabeth and I got married at very young ages - 18 and 17 years old. For several consistent years, you would have found us searching many different places for something to fill a void that we had in our lives as individuals. Fast forward to 2017, in the altars of her small home church, we both gave our life to the Lord and had found the very thing that our hearts had longed for.
In our journey of living for the Lord, I was called to preach in 2019. In the midst of two long and miserable years of running from his call, I was overwhelmed, and I tried to “find my place” in a couple different areas in regard to working within the church to try to silence or satisfy that call. Yet, those things would either not workout or I just didn’t feel like I was completely “in the right place” per se. In the midst of all of this, I received the needed understanding that God would supply everything that I need for the work he had called me to. Having said that, I surrendered to the call to preach in March of 2021.
Immediately after surrendering to his call, the Lord started opening several doors for me to minister within my own home church, as well as, in a couple different outreach programs. Elizabeth and I had found ourselves working with and attending various Vacation Bible Schools, Youth Conferences, and other children related activities. We have such a great passion to pour into the lives of children for they are a heritage unto the Lord. We cling to what scripture says in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Elizabeth and I love to teach in fun and creative ways as it is very important to us that not only will children understand what we’re talking about, but they would also remember it as well. So many of the things from our childhoods are forgotten, but we want to make sure that the most important thing will be remembered which is Jesus and him Crucified.
We are well aware of the difficulties that young children encounter on a day-to-day basis and how important and valuable it is that they have godly Christian influences before them. Our heart's desire is to be that positive role in their lives that will encourage them along the way even in the midst of perilous and dark times.
For several years, we had known that the Lord was calling us into children ministry. We just didn’t know how or what it would look like. It seemed like the day would never come and it also seemed like it was never going to work out. The more our hearts would swell for it, the further we felt from it. However, we kept clinging to the word that the Lord gave to Habakkuk, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3
We have such a strong desire to see children of all ages strengthened in the Grace of our Father and to experience the life changing power of Jesus Christ through the knowledge and understanding of what he has done for us. We are certain that the Lord has called us for such a time as this and in this church to accomplish his will. We pray you will consider bringing your children to Lakeside Church Yadkinville to be a part of what God is doing and allow us the privilege of pouring into their hearts the love of God.
